Texas Two Step

So, I'm flying to San Antonio tomorrow for the NCTE convention, which, for those not in the profession of force-feeding youth the last three chapters of The Yearling, stands for National Conference Of Teachers Of English. I'm speaking on a panel with the esteemed John Green and Joan Bauer on the subject of "The Realities of Humor: Funny Does Not Mean Unimportant." There's still time to register and get a flight to Texas. If you come to the panel discussion, I will buy you several donuts. That's the  Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, Room 007D | River Level.

Also, there's a book signing afterward at the Little, Brown tent. Need that new paperback copy of Going Nowhere Faster lovingly inscribed? You know where to go.
And, Twitter too… Also on Facebook
