Movie Review

Superbad by Greg Mottolla — 8.0

The bottom line is, this movie is hilarious. Jonah Hill is an unstoppable comic force, and the script is gleefully un-PC and terrifically offensive in all the best ways. Unfortunately, it's already a cultural touchstone, with guys in flat front khakis around the country quoting Mclovin over their second glass of wine. But, that's not the movie's fault. This is one of those films that again makes the inarguable point that it's all in the script, as Seth Rogan and his partner appartently have been writing this treatise on high school loserdom for twenty years, which is why so much of it rings true.
