Pineapple Express dir. David Gordon Green — 7.2
| Alternately wildy hilarious and incredibly dull and moronic. Kind of exactly like smoking Pineapple Express. Long stretches of no funny, and then lots of it. The usual Apatow formula, toss in a little Rogen, mix in balls and pot jokes, and there you have it. Surprisingly violent. And where did Rosie Perez come from? Where did she go, for that matter? The guy who played "Red" was the best part of the movie, but I was too lazy to rewind the credits and see what his name is, which also seemed fitting. I layed on the couch and at Doritos instead, |
