OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies dir. Michael Hazanavicius — 7.0

A pretty sly and very French send up of 60's Belmondo spy/action films. It's not hilarious, or really even all that funny, but I had a smile on my face a lot, if only because of the loving recreation of the outfits, affects, facial expressions, body language, and thin plotting of the originals. Very much like the Connery Bond films as well, just with more style.

“I ran down the hall. And stopped in front of the counselor’s office. There was nothing there. Not even a door, just bricks. I could swear there used to be a door.”
