Never Let Me Go dir. Mark Romanek — 5.5

A well made but truly dull dystopic tale, where cloned children are raised essentially to be organ farms. The children struggle with the question of what it means to be human, just like bot-types and skin jobs and replicants have in a million other movies. Except in this one, there's lots of wistful music, squinting stoically, and a depressing English countryside color palate, all blue and gray. Turns out it's really ethically unfair to clone kids for their organs, especially once you get to know them a bit.
