JCVD dir. Marbrouk el Machiri — 6.0

This got a lot of positive press, but I thought it was pretty tedious. Sure, it's amusing to see Van Damme send himself up, and there's some good lines about the folly of his career and being an action star and the vicissitudes of Hollywood, but the grey/brown tone everything is shot in and the numbskull hostage plot really started to get on my nerves. Not nearly as clever, funny, or sarcastic as it was billed.
And, Twitter too… Also on Facebook

“I ran down the hall. And stopped in front of the counselor’s office. There was nothing there. Not even a door, just bricks. I could swear there used to be a door.”
