Exit Through The Gift Shop dir. Banksy — 6.1

The most interesting thing about this faux-documentary is seeing Banksy's actual art. And the work of many famous street art wheels. The satire itself feels pretty pat and dull: A no-name hanger on becomes a huge figure in the art scene without any talent. The message is a bit like being hit on the head with a spray-painted hammer. Essentially, that the art scene is ridiculous and people get paid huge sums of money when talent either doesn't exist or the perception of talent is relative. Yessir.
