Easy A dir. Will Gluck — 6.9
A pretty fun and sometimes well-written teen sex comedy that's really about the dangers of lying and the plusses of having impossibly hip parents. Essentially a retelling of The Scarlet Letter with better looking Puritans. Perception is reality. The characters frequently speak like five nerds in a script meeting instead of teenagers, and the notion of a girl in 2011 admitting to having sex one time being such a huge deal to everyone at her high school feels very 1962. Still, worth seeing and better than most of its genre.
