Movie Review

Brooklyn Rules dir. Michael Corrente — 4.9

If there's an older cliche in the book than the wise guy/good guy struggle between old friends back in the hood, I don't know what it is. Vampires? Meg Ryan in love? Not a single inch of this hasn't been done six million times before and six million times better. Rent Mean Streets instead. Twice.

although somehow also pleasant to feel

wistful when one leaves in an

unknown direction."
