Battle of the Books!

The Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for teens ages 13 to 17 to support literacy and libraries. This year the Catwalk Ninja team (representing characters from You Killed Wesley Payne) placed a close second! It was a nail-biter and I was rooting for them wildly from the virtual stands. Their shirts bear the prescient YKWP quote: "Tough guys tend to be as tough as you let them." Way to go, Ninjas.

"The propane was gone. The first-aid kits were gone. Even the at-screen TVs were gone. What were they going to plug them into, a Lurker’s ass?"
