I love this coming from the Kingster! Defender of Jodi Picoult and longtime sufferer of lesser-selling authorial arrows. Hey, Steve, have you ever tried to sit down and read The Tommyknockers ?
In an interview with USA Today, King compared Meyer with J.K. Rowling:
"Both Rowling and Meyer, they’re speaking directly to young people. The real difference is that Jo Rowling is a terrific writer and Stephenie Meyer can’t write worth a darn. She’s not very good.”
